Ken Miller is the founder and chief data scientist of MachineLearningConsultant.com
Ken’s passion has always been computers, data and sports. Combining these passions, provide the foundation for our dynamic and successful approach of applying machine learning and artificial intelligence to player and team evaluations. Ken has a Bachelor of Science in Business with an emphasis in accounting. He also has a Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit, Mercy and his Machine Learning Engineering ND from Udacity.com. Interestingly, Udacity was founded by Sebastian Thune, one of the primary engineers that created the Google self driving car.
Ken is also a 13-year veteran of the United States Navy. He served in the first Gulf War as an explosive ordnance disposal diver. His team cleared underwater mines off the coast of Iraq. He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for heroic actions (with “V”) and the Combat Action ribbon. He was also named Reserve Sailor of the Year for the U.S. Atlantic Fleet in 1994.
